If anyone was interested, I converted my 10s LLT Smart Bms to 12s as 10s-15s are all the same PCB with different firmware. I''m cheap and didn''t buy the serial converter so I used one from a NodeMCU and it worked perfectly. Okay, so I now experienced also a very unpleasant connection issue with the BMS. Looking and hcidump output and a simple hcitool lecc <mac> (= BLE connect), I can now state that the JBDBT02 device it self seems to have some sort of blacklistening or block mechanism. I could not re-connect from my VenusOS to the device, but could without issues use from another device

@FKZ there is a ticket open to look at the ElectroDacus SBMS0 integration. If someone would like to donate a BMS that we can use for the integration and testing that always helps a lot. The driver handles the battery settings on the ESS system so that it will work just like a battery that is offically supported by Victron.

I bought a couple of 12S charge only LLT BMS''s, and have been installing them as part of my upgrade cycle. The first one I never could get the Bluetooth connection to work so I didn''t configure it at all, and I''ve been running it since last spring without a problem. The second one I just installed, and I notice that the charge complete voltage is different than the first one.
I would suggest a JBD/LLT BMS. The Daly BMS has more issues and limitations. All the JDB/LLT have mostly the same features, so you just pick one that fits your requirements best (cells and current). The newer 200A model seems very nice and flexable as it can run as a 24V, 48V and higher battery.
